Artistic Inspirations

Florian Ritter

Florian Ritter is a photographer who photographs people and landscape. He traveled a lot to foreign countries to capture different people and the landscape there. I like the colors and how dramatic the photo appears.

Kat Von D

 Kat Von D is a tattoo artist who does tattoos. I like this photo because it includes one of my favorite actresses and is done so well.

Terry Richardson

 Terry Richardson is a well-known photographer who has taken photos of some of the biggest celebrities. I like this photo because it portrays my favorite model Cara Delevingne being herself.
 

Patrick Demarchelier

 

Patrick is well-known for his work with vogue. I like this photo and how it is taken from a worm's view to show off the models whole body and gives the viewer the illusion that she is taller then it appears. I like the dramatic style this photo gives off.

Henri Cartier-Bresson

Henri is famous for his black and white photos. I like this photo because it grabs your attention. The photo draws you in with its colors and the man who is in motion.

David Hockney Inspired Collage

In order to create this photo I first had to choose a scene. I decided on the tree in the back of my house and took about 30 photos. I uploaded them to the computer and started to Photoshop my images. I started in the left corner and simply copied and pasted each individual photo. I wanted the photo to line up so each image went right next to the other photo. Once I liked the arrangement I added an effect to make the photo brighter and I was done.

In order to create this photo I first had to choose a mode. I decided on my sister and then took about 25 photos of her standing against a blank grey wall. I uploaded them to the computer and started to Photoshop my images. I started with her eyes and then worked my way around her face. I played around with different pictures I took and once I liked the arrangement I edited the contrast the make her lighter.

Where I Rather Be

This image was created by first me standing against a blank wall and posing as if I was wrapping my arm around someone. I uploaded it on Photoshop and used the lasso tool to select only my body. I then copied and pasted it onto the photo with Justin Bieber. I had to delete the girl he was standing with originally and replaced her with me. I then changed the brightness and contrast to be a little darker along with the levels and curves.

This photo was created by sitting on the floor in front of a blank background. I used Photoshop to cut myself out and then copied it to the photo with the leaves. I placed my on the leaf and then rotated myself to be sitting where I'm going down the lead. I used the burn tool to add shadows and then I was finished.
